The words for this week are Sleepy and Lighthouse!
We've been a sleepy crew at Spirit Rising this week. After a long and inspiring weekend with Guru Raj Kaur and just getting adjusted to the schedule, people have been deeply nodding during the Naad yoga :)
But what an effect this has been having. I've noticed that we are becoming lighthouses for others with this practice. People are coming to us with their pain and with their hearts open, looking for security, comfort and may I say - elevation! I'm touched by their openness and willingness to try something new. I'm honored by this practice to be able to serve. Sat nam!

Inspiration!
Sat Nam, Beautiful People,
It was lovely to be at sadhana with you all yesterday morning during the TT Intensive. Harimander Singh and I have pretty full early morning schedules with teaching, and now we are again coordinating the sharing of one car, so most of the time LIVE sadhana at Spirit Rising doesn't work for us. Makes it that much sweeter when I CAN be there.
I want to encourage everyone in the TT program to Keep Up! with your 40-day practice. You will have your challenging moments, but it is so worth it to push through them. I am doing the exact same sadhana right along with you, in my own meditation space out here in Forest Park. I light the candles on my altar at 4, and at 4:30 I start chanting Japji. It is so uplifting for me to know you are all doing this practice with me, wherever you may be. I imagine myself in the same physical space with you and am blessed to "see" all your shining faces in the candlelight. Stay with it!

Thanks
Thanks for setting this up Dukh Niwaran! I know that last week my life was not too coorperative with my practice and am already feeling a difference today. I actually went to bed at 8pm, what a difference! Love to the group!

Welcome to our Sadhana Blog!
Sat nam ! I'm so excited to start this Teacher Training Sadhana Blog!
For the first time in our 10 year history, the teacher trainees have elected to do a group sadhana for their 1st 40 day sadhana. The community responded and in our first week, we've had about 6 people rising in the amrit vela, driving in the freeeezing cold to chant and do yoga together! Its been bliss. On Wednesday, Shiva Singh honored us with live music which just elevates the vibration to it heights!
I hope that you all use this blog to share your journey on your first 40 day Aquarian Sadhana whether you are doing it in the group or at home. We'd all love to hear from YOU! You inspire us!
Peace and light to each of you - Dukh Niwaran Kaur
